Base pay range

A$100,000.00/yr - A$130,000.00/yr

As a Commercial Analyst, you will be instrumental in helping the business and clients grow sustainably and profitably. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Commercial, you'll support everything from pricing strategy and financial modelling to reporting and opportunity assessment across the customer lifecycle.

Your key responsibilities will include

• Building and maintaining financial models for pricing, bids, and business cases
• Delivering detailed reporting on revenue, margin, volume, and cost-to-serve
• Conducting customer and segment profitability analysis
• Performing root cause and variance analysis to uncover commercial risks
• Analysing commission outcomes and pipeline trends
• Contributing to commercial projects and streamlining internal processes
• Participating in client presentations to explain pricing or commercial rationale

What we're looking for:

• Experience in commercial analysis, pricing, or financial modelling
• Strong Excel and data interpretation skills - able to turn numbers into insights
• CA/CPA qualified or PQ
• Confident communicator with strong business partnering skills
• Understanding of cost drivers, margin levers, and commercial risk
• Proactive mindset with a drive to improve processes and tools
• Experience in logistics, FMCG, consulting, or similar sectors (advantageous)
