With ongoing investment in research and development, we remain at the forefront of the industry, providing an exciting environment for technical growth and innovation.**YOUR ROLE:**Come join us as Quality Leader at our Benalla site. The Quality Leader is involved in all activities of production preparation, managing the development and workload of line Quality Coordinators and area Senior Quality Coordinators and in providing technical assistance to production execution. The primary objective is the achievement of the production plan in accordance with safety, quality, cost and continuous improvement objectives. The Quality Leader must ensure that your teams have the skills, knowledge, materials and other resources required to execute the production plan.Working at our Benalla site, on Pangerang and Yorta Yorta Land, your exciting new career opportunity will see you:* Ensure appropriate quality assurance and quality control activities are undertaken to ensure all product produced is within specification.* Obtain new or updated specifications as required and ensure changes are incorporated into Work Instructions, associated procedures and databases.* Answer any question from production staff that arise which need clarification from product drawings or specifications.* Quality Control of non-conforming products by investigation and analysis, follow-up actions and resolution.* Ensure the teams have the appropriate skill base to efficiently and safely operate as per the Thales Australia Quality Management System policies and procedures.* Matrix manage a function of Quality based staff across the site and product lines.* Recruiting to meet business resourcing needs.**YOUR EXPERIENCE:*** Experience in leadership and team management.* In-depth knowledge of Quality System Procedures and knowledge of product specifications and drawings.* An understanding of the manufacturing process and the ability to investigate and analyse quality problems.* Knowledge and experience with Australian and International quality standards, e.g. ISO-9001 and AS-1199.* Sound Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and IPESA configuration/document management.* Previous work in a Manufacturing environment is highly desirable.* Good verbal and written communication skills, organisational / time management skills.**WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLY:**After you have applied, you will receive an email acknowledging your application.
