**Job Description**:
We are looking for our **Regional Workers Comp Manager to manager **in NSW or VIC to join our leadership team and be responsible for the overall management, direction, coordination and performance of the NSW/VIC/ACT workers compensation and injury management team for all Toll Group Divisions and Business Units.
**Your role responsibilities will include**:
- Work with Group Manager Workers Compensation and Injury Management to deliver year-on-year improvement in Group Workers Compensation and Injury Management key performance indicators.
- Develop, implement, and maintain state based Accredited Return to Work and Injury Management Programs, Manuals and claims procedures.
- Provide leadership, vision, workers compensation and injury management specialist and managerial support across the region to minimis premium and claims costs, improved customer satisfaction and improved return to work outcomes.
- Monitor and control all claims activities within state legislation, including Acts of Parliament, Regulations, Policy, Procedures, and licence conditions.
- Provide proactive and efficient guidance to business units and sites regarding workers compensation claims, issues, strategies and financial implications.
- Implement initiatives that deliver on Toll's Safety Obsessed strategy.
**Qualifications**:
- Relevant experience and skills within self-insurance and the workers compensation industry
- Tertiary qualifications in either health or business are desirable.
**To be successful in this role, you will need**:
- 7+ years in a workers compensation role
- Experience as a self-insurer
- Experience in relationship building of both internal clients and external stakeholders.
- Ability to use strong interpersonal and persuasive skills at multiple levels within a commercial environment, with an emphasis on negotiating skills and influencing others
- Extensive experience in liaising with regulators.
- Ability to think strategically and then translate into implementation programs
- Experience managing teams.
- Experience in working in large complex organisations.
