**The Opportunity**
The Sanctuary Retirement Living, located in Caboolture South, is a warm and inviting retirement living community, set on beautifully landscaped gardens and offers a relaxing environment for the 100+ independent living villas. Reporting to the Regional Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, financial performance and services of the community. You'll have an enthusiastic approach to customer service, coupled with financial acumen, strong negotiation skills and excellent people management skills. However, your customer service and engagement skills are where you really excel. You are a team builder who can develop mutually beneficial relationships with residents to positively promote The Sanctuary Retirement Living.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Monday-Friday

**You will**:
- Coordinate all daily operations of village services including safety, security, maintenance, compliance and events
- Build resident satisfaction by creating a vibrant and inclusive culture throughout the community that is built on communication, professionalism and respect
- Implement financial budgets and be responsible for all financial performance of the village
- Ensure correct implementation and ongoing village compliance with all policies and procedures (including ensuring correct administrative processes are in place and followed)
- Managing a small team of staff including hiring, rostering/timesheets and performance management
- Liaise with internal and external teams including but not limited to: sales, marketing, legal, safety/risk, finance and building contractors
- Enable residents to maintain their optimum degree of independence, choice and quality of life & maintain effective inter-personal relations with residents and their families
**What you'll bring**:
- Prior experience in a customer-facing management role (e.g Hotel/Tourism Manager, Operations Manager, Property Manager or Facilities Manager etc.)
- Highly developed interpersonal skills where you pride yourself on your communication, adaptability, professionalism and negotiation skills
- Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, Teams, Excel PowerPoint)
- Experience in developing, implementing and managing financial budgets
- A proactive and self-motivated attitude with a strong focus on results, your team and resident satisfaction
- Tertiary qualification in business or related discipline (desirable, not essential)
- Minimum two (2) COVID-19 vaccinations (required)
