**The Role - **Permanent,**Full Time**
The Team Leader - NDIS Operationsprovides oversight and operational management to a highly skilled and client-focused team who engage and support people with a disability to access disability services. Located in Salisbury, the Team Leader ensures that all clients are provided with a client centred and effective intake, plan renewal and exit experience.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, the duties will involve, but won't be limited to:
- Maintain an in-depth knowledge of the NDIS standards and processes for client intake documentation and billing
- Provide regular auditing of Disability Pathways placement houses to ensure that properties meet a high standard for presentation, cleanliness and safety requirements for both clients and staff
- Support the Manager, Service Delivery to review processes, and documentation related to client intake and review as well as housing oversight
- Contribute to the strategic development and growth of Disability Pathways services through sound business practice and the pursuit of high standards of service delivery
- Monitor, coach and support direct reports to achieve individual and team outcomes
**About you**
You will be a passionate and experienced professional, who enjoys and thrives working with the disability field. You will have demonstrated experience in developing SIL client Roster of Care to match client plan funding and NDIS Plan requirements as well as previous experience leading a team.
You'll also have the following skills and experience:
- Relevant qualification within the areas of human services and / or relevant experience in the NDIS field
- Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of the NDIS business and regulatory environment, including NDIS Rules, Practice Standards and Code of Conduct
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with key stakeholders
- Ability to influence and guide others regarding people related matters
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including an ability to provide effective and appropriate advice and information to a variety of people.
- Ability to maintain discretion and confidential information.
**Specific employment requirements**
- A valid full South Australia driver's license (C Class)
- A valid NDIS Worker Screening Check
- A valid National Police Clearance
- A valid DHS Working with Children Check
- Evidence of current COVID 19 vaccinations including any booster requirements
- Child Safe Environments Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours
- Travel within South Australia + Road Worthy Vehicle
