Our client is a sustainable packaging industry leader who create custom solutions for businesses committed to making a difference to the environment and reducing waste. They create products from plant-based, renewable materials that are compostable and are completely carbon neutral from resource to disposal. They have grown rapidly and now have a presence in several global markets, with the company led from their Sydney office.

**About the Role**

This newly created Product Manager role will take complete ownership of the innovation pipeline, brand positioning and product strategy. This is a functional management level role, where you will be managing projects and be able to influence and guide cross functional teams. You will be leading and making improvements to the NPD process and have decision making authority over this, the pipeline and packaging. You will work closely with manufacturing and logistics teams to ensure project delivery on time and work with external suppliers. A key focus of this role is managing visual identity of the products as well as creating promotional collateral and marketing communications.

**About You**

To succeed in this role, you must have in depth experience of NPD and product management, and this will have been a focal point of your previous roles. You will have a passion for sustainability and have the drive to want to immerse yourself in this industry and develop products in line with market requirements. You must have strong cross-functional management and stakeholder engagement skills and enjoy working with factories and manufacturing teams. You will be open minded, autonomous and outcomes focussed to be successful in this role. You ideally will have led the innovation function and be used to working in a small company environment with the ability to pivot and adapt as necessary.
