Product Innovation Manager

Overview:

As a Product Innovation Manager, you will be responsible for leading the development and management of new products from conception to delivery. This role requires a deep understanding of customers and their needs, as well as strong communication and project management skills.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop a pipeline portfolio of innovative products
  • Manage product life cycles to ensure profitability and strategic alignment
  • Create new products from conception to delivery, including design, engineering, and production
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify customer needs and develop solutions
  • Manage quality and technical specifications of all products
  • Develop and maintain databases, intranets, and ERP systems
  • Represent the organization at trade shows and industry events
  • Manage price increases and price lists

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in product development, preferably in manufacturing or building products
  • Customer insights leading to product innovation experience
  • Hands-on skills in building or interiors industry preferred but not essential
  • Mechanical engineering skills and experience
  • Experience working with internal and external design and engineering teams
  • Strong communication and team leading skills to meet project goals
