At Tagaddod, we are committed to fostering sustainable practices and leading initiatives that have a positive environmental and social impact. We are seeking a knowledgeable and dedicated Sustainability & ESG Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and managing our sustainability strategies and Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) initiatives.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement sustainability and ESG strategies in line with organizational goals and industry best practices.
Conduct assessments and audits to measure our environmental impact and compliance with sustainability standards.
Monitor and report on sustainability performance metrics, helping to identify areas for improvement.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability practices throughout the organization.
Stay up to date on trends, regulations, and developments in the sustainability and ESG arenas.
Prepare and present reports for internal stakeholders and external disclosures related to sustainability and ESG performance.
Engage with stakeholders, including investors, customers, and community partners, to promote Tagaddod's sustainability initiatives.
Support the company in obtaining sustainability certifications and maintaining compliance with ESG-related regulations.
Lead employee engagement initiatives that promote a culture of sustainability within the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in sustainability, ESG reporting, or a related area.
Strong understanding of sustainability frameworks and ESG reporting standards (e.g., GRI, SASB, TCFD).
Excellent analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex data.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
Proficiency in sustainability reporting tools and software.
Passion for sustainability and commitment to making a positive impact on the environment and society.
