ESG Specialist Role Overview

This key position is integral to driving a coherent overall ESG program through the integration and implementation of best practice systems, tools, processes, and metrics.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a sustainable ESG framework that mitigates negative supply chain impacts via robust controls and governance mechanisms in alignment with our Risk Management System across Commercial functions.
  • Cultivate effective cross-functional collaboration with Risk Management System, Environment, Sustainability, Social Performance teams to deliver strategic objectives and ensure compliance with relevant environmental, social, and governance regulations.
  • Promote process improvement initiatives to enhance ESG performance, develop and disseminate tools and guidance material aligned with best-practice frameworks.
  • Communicate complex environmental and social issues effectively to diverse stakeholders through analysis, reporting, and presentations.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Undergraduate Degree in Environmental Science and/or Business Administration.
  • Demonstrated experience in ESG framework development and implementation.
  • Ability to contribute to public facing reporting (i.e. Climate Report, Sustainability Report).
  • Proficiency in report writing, data analysis, and evaluation.
  • Capacity to facilitate awareness building and excel in cross-functional collaboration.
  • Skills in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
