Our Federal Government client is seeking multiple
**Technical Officers** who are highly motivated and are fast learners.

**About the role**:

- Provide technical advice to internal and external stakeholders in both verbal and written formats
- Contribute to the maintenance and provision of import conditions
- Engage collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders
- Perform simple data management, use of data to record basic statistics

**Ideally you will have**:

- Well-developed oral and written communication skills
- Customer service skills
- Liaison skills to develop and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Time management skills, including the ability to take responsibility for own tasks and manage own work with limited supervision
- Beginner level Microsoft excel concepts

**Desirable but not essential**:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) in animal or plant science, or a related discipline
- Relevant qualifications or experience in communications or a related discipline
