**About the team**
The Community and Economic Development Department provides a range of high-quality services, programs and initiatives for the Glen Eira community and local organisations, often in partnership with key stakeholders.

**About the role**
This position offers confidential management and administrative support to the Manager Community and Economic Development. You will also provide efficient and focused administrative support to the entire Community and Economic Development Department.
- Other responsibilities include:_
- Manage the Department's timelines for reports, agendas, minutes and documentation, setting schedules and timelines and working closely with the Manager and Coordinators to ensure deadlines are met.
- Provide project and event delivery support, including but not limited to, room bookings, catering, managing registrations and relevant correspondence.
- Provide and maintain quality and timely administration support to the Manager, Coordinators and across the team as required.

**About you**
You are an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in administration and project support. You will be able to manage multiple priorities, maintain accurate records, and ensure smooth project processes. Your strong communication skills will help you collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

The following is also required:

- Experience working in an administration role in a busy office environment that produces a large volume of complex documentation where a high degree of accuracy is required.
- Proficiency in writing, computer and typing skills.
- A minimum of intermediate knowledge and experience using the Microsoft Office suite and other finance, document management and project management software systems.
