About the role
The role of the Administration Officer is to provide administrative support to the Forensic Secure Services (FSS), Occupational Violence Prevention (OVP) team. Ensuring provision of an efficient, effective, and confidential administrative support service, operating with a high degree of independence in performing the duties of the position while maintaining open channels of communication between all staff within the department and other members of the multidisciplinary teams
About you
- Ability to plan, meet deadlines and prioritise workloads whilst working autonomously, and to be flexible in a project environment.
- Ability to prioritise and coordinate activities in a team environment to meet deadlines, and to be flexible in a changing work environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality, use discretion in the absence of decision makers, and the ability to initiate and finalise action on specific matters within work deadlines.
- Ability to build and sustain relationships with multiple key stakeholders utilising a high level of written and verbal communication skills.
**Mandatory Requirements**:
- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
