Overview

Project Officer role at Queensland Police Service. Participate in multi-disciplinary projects teams involved in the planning, development, implementation, review and evaluation of domestic and family violence issues and initiatives. Undertake research, provide advice and assist in the preparation of documentation in support of the domestic and family violence project activities. Provide administrative and organisational support to the work area.

Responsibilities
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary projects teams involved in the planning, development, implementation, review and evaluation of domestic and family violence issues and initiatives.
  • Undertake research, provide advice and assist in the preparation of documentation in support of the domestic and family violence project activities.
  • Support the functions of the work area through administrative and organisational support.
  • Liaise, consult and negotiate with internal and external stakeholders in an appropriate manner.
  • Produce timely and accurate information to be used for evaluating programs, providing a basis for planning and policy development, and assessing legislative impacts on policing domestic and family violence issues.
  • Represent the Queensland Police Service, where appropriate, at selected domestic and family violence forums.

  • While there are no mandatory requirements, previous experience in a portfolio, program and/or project environment would be favourably regarded.
