**About the role**
This is a rare and exciting opportunity to join our team in a 'hands-on' sales leadership role, with a real opportunity to make a difference. In your role as **Business Sales Leader - Retention**, you will be proud to lead a close-knit team of six high performing business sales consultants, who live and breathe the Kleenheat values in supporting our business customers with their energy needs.
This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity based in Murdoch (Building 161, Car Park 12, Murdoch University, Murdoch). We are conveniently located close to public transport and there's plenty of free onsite parking too.
**In this varied and interesting role, your key responsibilities will include**:
- Operating strategically to identify and implement initiatives to achieve core KPI's, leading teams with a coaching focus on sales commerciality and professionalism, with the ability to resolve customer operational issues in a complex energy environment.
- Coach team members to deliver team results and exceed customer metrics by driving accountability and aspiration of high performance standards.
- Identify performance trends, and provide reporting on sales performance, sales conversion effectiveness and competitor activity; and market intelligence.
- Ensuring safety and the wellbeing of team members remains priority number one. Our leaders develop a culture where safety is at the heart of all practices.
**Skills & experience**:
- Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate and manage a sales team to achieve core KPI's and sales targets, in an intensely competitive, ever-changing environment.
- Possess a results focussed mindset underpinned by strong commercial thinking, and an appetite to drive change and embrace new opportunities.
- Utilise analytical and problem-solving skills to think strategically, and demonstrate solid decision making rationale.
- Clear and concise written, verbal communication skills, along with good presentation skills.
- Relevant industry experience - preferably within the energy industry (or related utilities, /telco, finance or /insurance backgrounds would also be desirable).
