**Your new opportunity**:
Penske Australia is seeking a technically skilled sales representative to be based out of the Chipping Norton Branch. Our Sydney operation provides diverse new product, service, and parts to customers in each of our key markets throughout the Sydney and NSW region.

Penske Australia are the Australian distributor of MTU diesel and gas engines including power systems, Mercedes Benz diesel engines, Detroit diesel engines, Allison transmissions, Deutz diesel engines and Deutz Power Solution Gensets.

In this role you will:

- Sales, marketing and business development of Penske Australia product for all off highway market segments in Sydney, with regular field trips to regional areas as required.
- Support the existing client base and develop new business opportunities to expand the customer base to achieve sales targets.
- Seek sales/tender opportunities and respond to these requests with complete and timely submissions to current and potential customers.
- Create, maintain, and utilise lead and opportunity management under the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System in order to develop quotes/proposals that are progressed to sales.
- Develop account relationships with select OEM, dealers, resellers and major retail customers.
- Provide input into strategic sales direction of the branch and new business opportunities.

**About you**:

- Prior sales experience in a related industry and/or role, with a track record of delivering new business growth.
- Knowledge of the industries Penske Australia operates within.
- Diesel engine and generator experience preferred but applicants from other related industries are welcomed.
- Possess a technical background and/or diverse sales experience.
- An ability to consistently deliver on customer service and confidence to connect with a diverse customer base.
- Experience utilising a CRM sales management system is preferred but not essential.
- Willingness to undertake reasonable travel throughout NSW.
