**The Opportunity**
Chandler Macleod is looking to engage a Digital Controls Technical Officer

for a contract term till the 30th of June (with possible extension) with a well-established NSW Government department. This role will be based in
**Kingswood NSW.**

**Job Specification**
In this position, you will be required to perform but are not limited to the following tasks:

- Process, colour, name and create derivatives of digital image files in line with established standards and specifications
- Use workflow processes to facilitate quality assurance and ingestion of files into the appropriate digital asset repository
- Maintain knowledge of rapidly changing technical developments in digitisation photography and imaging and provide analysis, evaluation and advice on the acquisition and use of specialist equipment including colour management systems and imaging computers
- Address client enquiries, liaise with suppliers, track progress of imaging orders, enter job and client details on record management system databases and organise delivery of client orders
- Contribute to planning and strategy, improvement of work processes and quality of service outcomes for the team by documenting work procedures and assist the digitisation team managers, with planning and delivering staff training
- Undertake complex digitising photography including media, publication, marketing, architecture, workplace and exhibition documentation photography

**About You**
To be successful in this position, you will need to have experience in the following:

- Relevant tertiary qualifications in digitisation, photography and/or significant experience in complex, creative and corporate digitisation and imaging photography
- 96 and Macintosh operating systems
- Must have photoshop skills and experience working on large volume digitisation projects.
