Hitachi Construction Machinery (Australia) Pty Ltd is a leading manufacturer of construction and mining equipment.
**Opportunity**:
An exciting opportunity has become available for a motivated Account Manager who will be responsible for the overall relationship management and facilitation of business relationship with a key HCA Customer
In this role you will work closely with both the relevant HCA departments and the equivalent Customer stakeholders to achieve agreed HCA targets with respect equipment performance and supply chain KPI's.
**Reporting directly to the Branch Manager and General Manager you will**:
- Conduct your duties in a safe manner and comply with all general health and safety duties with respect to our branch and site operations.
- In conjunction with business and operations Managers, develop and implement strategies that will provide business growth within your relevant mining account(s)
- Manage and develop your customers across multiple levels including senior management contact down to site level. Become a trusted partner with them and provide an added value service with the assistance of our support network group.
- Address and resolve support issues and disputes in a timely manner.
- In conjunction with business Managers, develop and implement strategies that will provide business growth for HCA
- Manage and coordinate formal review meetings with at a management and senior level.
- Assist HCA stakeholders and our customers to escalate, address and resolve product support / fleet issues, commercial, operational, technical and supply chain issues within agreed time frames.
- Manage issues for an account base involving multiple sites and offices across Western Australia which will require interstate travel when appropriate
- Conduct workplace inspection and toolbox talks each month.
**To be successful in this role you will have**:
- Highly developed capacity to exercise judgement in problem resolution and discretion when dealing with sensitive and/or confidential information
- Genuine desire to deliver Hitachi's Promise of Total Customer Satisfaction as you develop and maintain positive relationships with customers
- Proven relationship building skills, including high level written and oral communication.
- A motivated and competitive drive to meet and exceed performance targets.
- Strategic and Analytical capability to assess and prepare technical and commercial documentation
- Confident, courteous and professional communication and presentation skills
- Mechanical or Electrical trade background qualifications.
- Experience in management within the construction and / or the mining industry.
- Proven experience managing customer accounts including negotiating commercial contracts.
