You will join our Maintenance Services team, which provides Maintenance Management Services for the Royal Australian Navy (RAN).
You will oversee the Maintenance Management Services for the assigned ship, ensuring that all maintenance (preventative and corrective) and engineering changes are completed safely within the schedule, cost, and technical requirements.Key Responsibilities:Ensure customer requests for the assigned ship are understood, qualified, prioritized, handed over to the appropriate teams, and processed.Liaise with customer representatives to ensure maintenance work packages meet operational effectiveness and safety objectives.Manage ship maintenance planning, ensuring resources are allocated to meet schedule requirements.Develop detailed work order schedules and maintenance period work packages, understanding critical activities and potential issues.Manage urgent defect rectification, liaising with customer representatives to define scope.Your Skills, Qualifications and Experience:Formal qualification in Engineering, Project Management, or equivalent trade/engineering training and experience.Demonstrated safety leadership in a complex industrial environment.Experience with administration in engineering or manufacturing settings.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Experience managing planning or execution of work packages.Experience in shipbuilding, ship repair, or heavy engineering industries.WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO APPLYAfter applying, you will receive an acknowledgment email.
