Warehouse Operations Manager

As a Warehouse Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient execution of day-to-day activities within our warehouse facility. You will oversee the entire warehousing process, from receiving and stocking to shipping and inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Conduct daily pre-start meetings to understand priorities based on business requirements
  2. Supervise and monitor all warehouse activities and staff, adjusting workloads and priorities as needed
  3. Oversee warehouse receipts, deliveries, and dispatches to ensure quality and quantity of commodities
  4. Verify quality and count of commodities being received, collected, and delivered from the warehouse
  5. Identify and address inventory reduction and relocation, documenting correctly all such operations
  6. Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular physical inventories of commodities counts in the warehouse
  7. Monitor and control inventory integrity through audits and correct material handling practices
  8. Resolve inventory problems in a timely manner and escalate as required
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required
  • Forklift license required
  • Some training and/or experience in commodity or general stock management, logistics, financial management, accounting or equivalent desirable
  • 5-10 years experience working in a warehouse environment preferred
  • Ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Dependable, well-organized, and strong time management skills
  • Solid working knowledge of computers and software such as Oracle, MS Excel, and MS Word
