Werribee & Western Automotive Group is one of the largest Automotive Retail Groups in the Western Suburbs, with Dealership locations in Hoppers Crossing, Caroline Springs, West Melbourne, Footscray and Essendon.
We have an excellent opportunity for an energetic Junior Human Resources professional or HR Graduate to join our group during our growth phase.
This is a full-time position whilst part time will be considered and you will be reporting directly to the Group Human Resources Manager while working closely with our Payroll officer and department managers & supervisors.
This role will support the HR function, acting as a generalist role, coordinating recruitment, employee onboarding, WHS and key HR activities and projects.
**_ Key Responsibilities:_**
- Participate in all HR administration activities as directed by the Group HR Manager.
- Co-ordinate talent acquisition, recruiting and selection activities.
- On and Off boarding of all employees.
- Support the Group HR Manager with implementation of change initiatives and projects.
- Maintain, update or create the job requirements and job descriptions.
- Prepare employee files and induction training.
- Assist with preparing, updating, HR templates, policies and procedures.
- Manage employee leave entitlements and assist with payroll where required.
- Manage our different learning platforms and training initiatives.
- Assist with HR related research and improving operations.
- WHS activities and tasks.
- Covid-19 activities and tasks.
- Coordinate performance management and improvement systems under guidance of HR Manager.
- Assist the HR Manager with employment and compliance/regulatory concerns
- Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leave etc.
