Technology Implementation Manager

**Please be aware that this is a 12 month contract role based in Sydney, with the view to potentially going permanent after the contract end date.**

**How will I help?**

The International Payments Team covers L3 support, project and persistent team delivery of change that supports the GTS International and High Value Payments program of work.

The program of work will help the GTS business maintain c.$350m of annual International Payments revenues, protect against risk of customer attrition and help to increase business revenue.

The team covers L3 support for 36 systems of which 50% are Group Critical + Business and Customer Critical.

Key programs of work:

- GPP Fusion Transformation Project - complete migration from GPP-Classic to GPP Fusion
- GPP Fusion - Migration from GPP-SP to GPP Fusion (Unite funded)
- ISO 20022 Compliance
- SWIFT Ecosystem and Compliance - including AMH Upgrade; CSP and RITS Attestations; SWIFT Standards Releases
- L3 Support

This role exists to manage the critical end to end implementation activities mentioned above for the International Payments Program.

**Key Attributes**:
The Implementation Manager will be required to drive and manage the International Payments Transformation end to end activities and which is key to delivering the critical Payments System for High Value and International Payments.

The main responsibilities of the role are:

- Providing deliverables on time and with the quality and coverage expected, to ensure the project's implementation progresses in a controlled and scheduled manner.
- Producing a timeline roadmap for the project's implementation, identifying the tasks, dependencies and responsibilities required to ensure the successful implementation.
- Release planning in conjunction with the delivery managers.
- Engagement with enterprise security and operational teams to certify the release.
- Engage with the Enterprise Release Management process, including Operational Readiness
- Creating the required documentation (Implementation Strategy, Implementation Plan, SOLPAC, Control Centre Schedule, etc.) related to the project.
- Preparing for and managing relevant Go-No Go Decision forums together with all Release related workshops involving activities and dependencies across all work streams.
- Ensuring the Post Implementation Verification (PIV) requirements for the project have been identified and understood and that the relevant PIV scripts have been developed.
- Management of the team/resources involved in the PIV coordination and execution Assist in performing PIV to identify and evaluate the effectiveness of the implementation.
- Ensuring that appropriate resources to support implementation/production release and PIV plans and been sourced and allocated.
- Management of implementation and production releases/deployment.

**What do I need?**
- Proven track record in successfully leading and managing medium/large projects with many of the following characteristics:

- Integration strategy creation tailored towards project specific requirements
- Identification of Program Integration inter-dependencies and critical pathways
- Ensuring the appropriate planning and management of the Integration resources, and ability to act as technical analyst when required
- Effectively communicate and manage program expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
- As part of the strategy, identify the reporting requirements to ensure communication to key stakeholders is consistent and accurately reflects the progress and status of program integration
- Define program integration scopes, plans, resource management and deliverables that support business strategy in collaboration with stakeholders
- Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress
- Build, develop, and grow any business relationships vital to the success of the project
- Management of diverse stakeholder expectations, across different business divisions
- Experience within projects and/or delivery of technology solutions
- Critical Payments experience across Westpac delivery and Westpac extended Payment ecosystem with established relationships to domain teams.
- Experience working in Agile cross-functional delivery teams
- Demonstrated abi
