Information Technology Operations Manager

We are looking for an experienced IT Operations Manager to join an established Sydney based FinTech, they are an innovation driven technology first business that is reshaping how Australians invest. This is a critical stage of their continued growth and will involve leading and evolving their internal IT service function and capabilities within a fast-growing, APRA-regulated environment.

You will be someone who can drive & mature ITSM policies whilst building scalable and resilient IT processes and frameworks. You'll work closely with vendors and infrastructure operations, whilst ensuring compliance standards with ISO27001, APRA and CPS234. This is a strategic hire driven by recent success and growth and will report directly into the Head of Technology who is a forward-thinking leader with a technology-first approach and an ambitious roadmap.

It will be important for you to have proven IT operations delivery experience working with external partners and executive stakeholders, ideally within either financial services or a scale up environment.

Key skills:

  • Proven experience in both IT operations & service delivery
  • Experience implementing ITSM tools
  • Understanding of M365 and the full productivity suite
  • Strong communication skills and stakeholder management experience
  • Experience managing external vendors and partners
  • Awareness of regulatory compliance frameworks (ISO27001, APRA, CPS)
  • Developing processes & policies for IT Infrastructure

As this role progresses you will earn the opportunity to grow and develop your own team. The position will pay between $160-$180k+ depending on experience and we are able to arrange interviews immediately.

Must have full Australian working rights and be based in Sydney, NSW
