We're looking for an
Account Director - Business Development
to lead and inspire a team of
10 Business Advisors
(New Business BDMs and Account Managers) across Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, and New Zealand. This role is all about
driving new business growth
, nurturing existing SMB clients, and scaling up our SaaS offering – all while keeping our customers at the heart of everything we do.

surrounding areas

The Role
As An Account Director – Business Development, You'll:
Lead, coach, and develop a team of 10 high-energy Business Development Managers across Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and New Zealand.
Drive new business acquisition in the SMB space, with a particular focus on trades and small business services.
Be hands-on in the field – coaching, motivating, and supporting your team to thrive in a short, fast-moving sales cycle.
Shape sales strategy, provide insights, and champion process improvements to boost performance.
Deliver against revenue, productivity, and customer experience targets.
Act as a trusted partner to senior leaders, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
This is not a desk-only role – you'll be side-by-side with your team, leading by example and driving results.
What We're Looking For
You'll Bring
A proven track record leading
face-to-face sales teams
in the SMB space.
Strong experience in
new business development
and hitting revenue growth targets.
Knowledge of
marketing, advertising, SEO, SEM, digital, and SaaS
.
The ability to
coach, mentor, and inspire
– building capability and nurturing emerging leaders.
Resilience, motivation, and an unstoppable drive to exceed expectations.
Strong organisational skills and the ability to thrive in a
mobile, fast-paced environment
.
Tech-savviness and a flair for finding fresh approaches to sales and business growth.
