Responsibilities
Leading hands-on investigations and delivering strategic traffic and transport projects.
Providing expert advice on planning referrals and traffic management applications.
Managing heavy vehicle approvals and speed zone reviews across varied road conditions.
Engaging with the community and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
Championing road safety initiatives and continuous improvement across the Shire.
What You Will Bring
Strong customer acumen and a passion for community-focused outcomes.
Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
Sound knowledge of municipal traffic issues and relevant road traffic regulations.
Proven experience in traffic planning referrals and transport impact assessments.
Experience liaising with external agencies such as VicRoads and PTV.
Technical expertise in road safety audits, accident investigations, and traffic surveys.
A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team lunches and shared success.
