Responsibilities- Leading hands-on investigations and delivering strategic traffic and transport projects.
- Providing expert advice on planning referrals and traffic management applications.
- Managing heavy vehicle approvals and speed zone reviews across varied road conditions.
- Engaging with the community and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
- Championing road safety initiatives and continuous improvement across the Shire.
- Strong customer acumen and a passion for community-focused outcomes.
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
- Sound knowledge of municipal traffic issues and relevant road traffic regulations.
- Proven experience in traffic planning referrals and transport impact assessments.
- Experience liaising with external agencies such as VicRoads and PTV.
- Technical expertise in road safety audits, accident investigations, and traffic surveys.
- A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team lunches and shared success.
