• Leading hands-on investigations and delivering strategic traffic and transport projects.
• Providing expert advice on planning referrals and traffic management applications.
• Managing heavy vehicle approvals and speed zone reviews across varied road conditions.
• Engaging with the community and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes.
• Championing road safety initiatives and continuous improvement across the Shire.

• Strong customer acumen and a passion for community-focused outcomes.
• Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities effectively.
• Sound knowledge of municipal traffic issues and relevant road traffic regulations.
• Proven experience in traffic planning referrals and transport impact assessments.
• Experience liaising with external agencies such as VicRoads and PTV.
• Technical expertise in road safety audits, accident investigations, and traffic surveys.
• A collaborative mindset and enthusiasm for team lunches and shared success.
