About the role CatholicCare Victoria (CCV) is a leading and influential provider of charitable and social services in Victoria.
The Mission of CatholicCare Victoria is to build communities that recognise and nurture the dignity of each person.The Team Leader, Refugee and Asylum Seeker Services is responsible for ensuring the effective and efficient coordination of Settle Well, Job Readiness and our AOD Programs.
The position is responsible for coordinating and monitoring caseloads, including providing day-to-day practice supervision support and guidance to staff to ensure positive outcomes.
Specifically, the position is responsible for: Contributing to the development of funding proposals and tenders, service models, research and innovationSupervising and coaching direct reports to support them in the achievement of their goalsUndertaking and completing all reporting requirements in a timely and accurate mannerDeveloping and reviewing documents required to articulate and support service deliveryEnsuring the program and services can operate effectively within budgets To be considered for this position, applicants require: Relevant tertiary qualification, preferably in Social Work, Psychology, Human Services or Community Development or similar related disciplineDemonstrated experience in the delivery of health, social or community services, particularly alcohol and other drug (AOD) treatment and / or with culturally and linguistically diverse clients and communitiesDemonstrated experience in providing professional supervision to client-facing staff in the delivery of human services programsDemonstrated experience in working with standards and certification requirementsStrong understanding of a variety of theoretical frameworks and intervention strategies, including working with children, young people and familiesTeam Leader, Refugee and Asylum Seeker ServicesPlease ensure your application includes your resume and a cover letter detailing a summary of your experience relevant to the position.The successful applicant must have the right to work in Australia, undergo a National Police Check with a satisfactory outcome (and International Police Check if applicable), hold a current Working with Children's check (employee status) and for some positions a valid drivers licence.Should you require cultural or other support in submitting your application, please contact our People Team on .
