The ANZ Specialist team is part of the WWPS team, responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth among the largest Public Sector customers. We work backwards from complex, critical customer problems to develop and execute go-to-market strategies. Our team includes technical business development, specialists, and solutions architects. You will manage a team of specialist solution architects and provide expertise throughout the customer lifecycle, from accelerating existing business adoption to innovating new services. Key job responsibilities
Manage a team of cross-domain Specialist SAs
Engage with CxO/VP level executives, developers, and technical architects to develop pipelines, secure lighthouse customers, drive revenue, and explore strategic partnerships
Develop and implement sales strategies leveraging Field Sales, technology, and consulting partner channels
Collaborate with Service and Technical teams to create solutions addressing customer problems, including reference architectures, automation, and release plans
Work with Marketing to align digital campaigns to increase awareness and demand
Provide technical thought leadership
Hire, onboard, train, and develop new Specialist Solution Architects
Educate customers on AWS value propositions and participate in architectural discussions for successful cloud deployment
Guide your team to scale technical knowledge through products, programs, and the AWS Field
Share best practices within the AWS SA community
Lead the creation of whitepapers, datasheets, and customer guidance documents
Build trusted advisor relationships within customer accounts to foster cloud advocacy
Act as a liaison between customers, engineering teams, and support

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
10+ years managing technical, enterprise customer-facing teams
7+ years in infrastructure, database, and networking architecture
Bachelor's degree
Experience designing/operating solutions on any cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, etc.)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Experience migrating or transforming customer requirements to the cloud
