Pace Vic are very excited to partner with a leading wholesale organisation in the FMCG industry, based in Melbourne's Eastern suburbs. As a result of this growth, the organisation is now on the lookout for a passionate and enthusiastic junior supply chain professional to join their small, dedicated team. The successful applicant will play a crucial role in the overall success of the business, providing International & Domestic Logistics administrative support and will have the opportunity to learn and grow with the business during this very exciting time in their history.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Ensuring customer orders are processed accurately and efficiently across all food categories.
- Manage communications relating to customer orders and cargo ready dates, delivery dates, ensuring that freight is tracked and stakeholders updated.
- Monitor customer's freight agent's portals (confirming orders; quantity; prices).
- Shipping document processing and filing.
- Contribute to forecasting administrative duties and maintain data integrity at all times.
- Checking invoices against 3PL and Logistic partner provisions.
- Liaison (written and verbal/phone) with external and internal stakeholders; customers and manufacturers; timely information transfer.

**About You**:

- Tertiary qualification in Business, Supply Chain, International Trade or similar discipline preferred
- Previous experience in a Supply Chain environment with exposure to food preferable
- A sound understanding of MS Office suite, predominately Excel, Word and Outlook and IT navigation skills
- Excellent communication (written and verbal)
- Sound analytical and problem-solving skills
- An all-rounder with excellent intuition
- Ability to work independently with sound time management skills
- Passion, hunger, desire to learn and collaborate in a small team.
