In Alice Springs, our Sales Representative is the face of PFD, building trusted relationships, supporting local businesses, and ensuring our customers have what they need to keep their communities fed.This is a hands-on sales role where you'll manage a portfolio of customers, representing half of the Alice Springs customer base.
You'll spend your days out on the road, visiting local businesses, strengthening relationships, and finding opportunities to grow their baskets.You'll work independently across Alice Springs and the surrounding 90km radius, with the support of a friendly and down to earth team of 7.
You'll enjoy both autonomy and the backing of an award-winning Branch Manager who's known for her supportive, hands off style.This is a full-time, salaried role (Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm) and comes with a company vehicle, tools of the trade, and four weeks annual leave.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild strong, reliable relationships with a diverse customer base.Visit existing accounts regularly, delivering exceptional customer service.Proactively sell and promote PFD's product range, not just take orders.Identify opportunities to grow sales through upselling and cross-selling.Represent PFD with professionalism as the local "face of the business."Collaborate closely with warehouse and support teams to ensure seamless service.What We're Looking ForTo thrive in this role, you will bring:Reliability and consistent, dependable, and customer-focused.Strong communication skills and able to engage with people from all walks of life.Sales drive and confidence to promote and sell, not just process orders.Self-motivation and capable of working independently, unsupervised.Local knowledge and based in Alice Springs and connected to the community.Product knowledge and ability to learn and represent a broad foodservice range.What PFD is Offering the Successful CandidateWe are offering competitive remuneration, superannuation and other staff benefits (such as discounts on staff purchases, discounted accommodation, health insurance and banking).
