**Your new role awaits**:
Based at our **Dandenong Branch**, the Transport Coordinator is responsible for arranging the safest, most cost-effective and efficient transport of equipment for the Coates Business. This can be for interstate, intrastate or customer requirements.
- Manage the pick-up, delivery and changeover of our equipment to optimise fleet utilisation
- Ensure our transport partners meet service levels and critical metrics
- Implement daily optimised transport planning, route modelling and scheduling to meet customer requirements
- Coordinate internal and subcontractor drivers
- Represent Coates with professionalism and work to tight deadlines, maintaining high safety standards
- Provide system-based transport planning activity within the region to ensure movements are optimised.
- Perform transport analytics, including route planning, cost optimization and logistics performance measurement
**About you**:
As well as having amazing customer service skills and a can-do, flexible attitude, you will have:
- Effective time management and attention to detail
- Ability to make informed, data-driven decisions via the use of various systems, including Excel
- Experience with route planning software and transport management systems
- Represent Coates with professionalism and work to tight deadlines, maintaining high safety standards
- Ideally you'll have experience with dashboards, data cleaning, problem solving, data ethics and data visualisation
- An understanding of the transport industry, equipment, and regulatory requirements
