**About Us**

Based in the Dandenong South, this manufacturer of timber trusses, windows and doors is looking for a Payroll Officer to work part time 3 days a week or flexible for full time with 2 days a week of HR duties added to the role. Reporting to the CFO, you will be the first point of call for Payroll and HR enquiries as it will involve you to utilise your administrative and HR skills to deliver accuracy and coordination of all deadlines or expectations are completed within payroll.

Office Hours
- Fulltime: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday 8am - 4pm and Thursday 7am - 3pm
- Part Time: Wednesday and Friday 8am - 4pm and Thursday 7am - 3pm (3 days)

**Tasks & Responsibilities**
- Processing end to end weekly payroll - 200+ people
- Maintain an up-to-date payroll, legislation compliance and regulations
- Preparation and provide of weekly and monthly reporting
- Assisting with the reconciliation of superannuation, payroll tax, PAYG, Child Support
- Manage staff files, payroll information, leave and employee benefits forms
- Review, update, create and implement policy and procedure as required
- Support all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests
- Assist with staff assessment in consultation with managers
- Understanding of HR awards, compliance, and procedures

**Experience & Qualifications**
- A positive work ethic, a can-do approach and of course a sense of humour
- Clear and concise communication with accuracy to detail
- Operate MYOB, superannuation, payroll tax and child support reports
- Administration, customer service, data entry with Payroll & HR duties
- Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and able to work to deadlines
- Knowledge of HR legislation, regulations, and Awards

This role is flexible to** **paid on a permanent part time pro rata basis reflective of your experience as a Payroll Officer or fulltime with HR elements to the job duties as Payroll / HR Officer.
