The roster for this position is 5:2:4:3. Working an 80 hour fortnight, you will have every second Friday off as your RDO as well as Public Holidays - a great work/life balance.
What you will be doingAs the Electrical Maintenance Technician in our Site Services Team, you will be responsible for coordinating and executing scheduled maintenance programs as well as troubleshooting problems and conducting breakdown repairs on an ad-hoc basis. You will be required to lead contractors that are engaged in the maintenance or repair of Boddington's infrastructure. You will be dedicated to maximising the amount of scheduled maintenance and minimising the impact of unscheduled maintenance, whilst ensuring integrity in your work. Responsibilities include
- Effectively and accurately carry out scheduled maintenance and repairs to infrastructure and facilities to ensure that they are safe, environmentally compliant, reliable, operationally efficient, and in accordance with safe work procedures and processes.
- Carry out inspection, installation, repair, maintenance and troubleshooting of buildings, sumps, pumps, motors, piping, OWS's, facilities and other infrastructure.
- Collaborate with departments to ensure that you maintain facilities to a high level of operational efficiency, ensuring a positive customer experience.
- Read, comprehend, interpret and learn material safety data sheets, labels on products, warning signs, instructional manuals, and numbers.
- Regularly review all infrastructure maintenance records and practices to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and regulations and facilitate continuous improvement.
- Attend to emergency callouts when required based on a rotating roster which will include providing Refrigeration Technician support when required.
Who you are
- An Electrical Trade Qualification with significant diverse experience as a maintainer.
- A High Voltage Switching Certificate.
- A sound knowledge of statutory regulations and standards.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- A High Risk License with EWP, Forklift and Dogging is desired but not essential.
