Padbury Education and Child Care Centre is a **non-profit, community-based organisation** leading the development of innovative and responsive care for children for over 30 years. We are seeking a suitably qualified **Maintenance Technician**for a part-time position to join our professional, friendly team.

**About you**

Are you a skilled and versatile Maintenance Technician looking for a part time position? The Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with the general operation, maintenance and repair of equipment, building and grounds.

**Responsibilities** for this position include:

- Undertaking general repairs and maintenance
- Overseeing preventative maintenance
- Maintaining nature playgrounds
- To assist in identifying areas of improvement
- To take initiative and solve problems creatively

**Required**:

- Must be willing to obtain a Working with Children Check
- Must be willing to obtain a National Police Clearance
- Ability to operate hand and power tools
- Can do attitude with an attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
- Knowledge and skills to execute maintenance tasks unsupervised
- Exceptional organisational skills
- Ability to follow work health and safety procedures
