Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a Maintenance Technician role. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing scheduled and ad-hoc maintenance checks on equipment and plant.
Key Responsibilities:- Implementing Preventative Maintenance programs;
- Monitoring and developing new schedules for equipment and plant;
- Performing safety checks;
- Investigating failures and making recommendations to reduce risk and improve systems/processes;
- General maintenance within a factory environment, including blowmoulding, filling machines, packaging equipment, boilers and refrigeration systems;
The ideal candidate will have a relevant trade qualification (mechanical or electrical) and experience in boiler room and refrigeration maintenance. Previous experience in the food, dairy, packaging or process-related industries would be advantageous.
Requirements:- A valid trade certificate;
- Previous experience in a similar role;
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces;
- Good communication and problem-solving skills;
