Our clients operate in different facilities in a variety of locations and in many geographies. At AXA XL we help them create a comprehensive overview of the risks they're facing, with details on exposures and constraints they might encounter locally. We're there to identify how these risks fit into their corporate risk management strategy and support them to determine and prioritise investments needed to control these risks.

What will your essential responsibilities include?
- Efficiently conduct Loss Prevention Surveys at the premises of clients of all sizes and occupancies.
- Interact with clients on a local facility level as well as with Risk Managers and Brokers.
- Be responsible for risk improvement by clients through proactive recommendation monitoring.
- Handle large and medium size project reviews.
- Collaborate with all Risk Consulting Lines of Business (LoBs).
- Ongoing training and development.
- Interstate travel will be required

We're looking for someone who has these qualifications and skills:

- Ideally 1 - 3 years' work experience in an engineering discipline, insurance or risk engineering.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to schedule work efficiently within the available time frame.
- Tertiary qualifications in science or engineering degree.
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical data in simpler language and the ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of underwriting and customer partners is essential.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office.
- Self-motivated and able to work autonomously.
- Valid driver's license required.
