Overview
We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Risk Officer to join our Maritime Sustainment delivery team based at the Osborne Naval Shipyard, SA.
Reporting to the Risk & Issues Manager, the Project Risk Officer will provide support to the program risk and opportunity (R&O) management process.
We recognise the value of flexible work arrangements at BAE Systems Australia, such as working a 9-day fortnight and hybrid working.
Responsibilities
Assist the Program Risk Manager to deliver overall Program Risk & Opportunity objectives
Deliver accurate and timely R&O reporting requirements
Maintain the currency of information in the R&O toolset
Provide R&O toolset access and training
Key responsibilities
Support the Risk & Issues Manager in conducting risk reviews, including:
Preparation of risk review agendas
Recording risk review minutes and actions arising
Ensure updates captured in risk toolset in a timely manner
Follow up of actions arising
Work with the Risk & Issues Manager to deliver monthly Risk & Opportunity Program reporting
Assist with preparation of Risk & Opportunity artefacts
Provide support to periodic Schedule Risk Analysis modelling
Manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users
Provide advice and respond to Risk & Opportunity queries from IPTs
About You
Previous experience in a similar role or Project Management
Capability to identify and solve problems, think critically and innovate
Proven ability to partner with individuals / teams across a number of business areas, to shape and implement business requirements
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
Strong Microsoft Office skills
Current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain
