Role Overview

We are seeking a Project Risk Specialist to join our Maritime Sustainment delivery team. As a key member of the team, you will play a crucial role in shaping our culture and contributing to our success.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a Project Risk Specialist to provide support to the program risk and opportunity management process. Reporting to the Risk & Issues Manager, you will work closely with the team to deliver monthly Risk & Opportunity Program reporting.

  • You will be responsible for supporting the Risk & Issues Manager in conducting risk reviews, including preparation of risk review agendas, recording risk review minutes and actions arising, ensuring updates captured in risk toolset in a timely manner, and following up on actions arising.
  • Additionally, you will assist with the preparation of Risk & Opportunity artefacts and provide support to periodic Schedule Risk Analysis modelling.
  • You will also manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to partner with individuals/teams across multiple business areas to shape and implement business requirements. You will need to demonstrate strong analytical skills, critical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.

Key Requirements
  • A minimum of previous experience in a similar role or Project Management is highly desirable.
  • You should be capable of identifying and solving problems, think critically, and innovate.
  • Proven ability to partner with individuals/teams across a number of business areas to shape and implement business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal are essential.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are required.
  • Candidates must have current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
