This role plays a crucial part in supporting our risk management process, ensuring that we stay ahead of potential threats and capitalize on emerging opportunities.

As Project Risk Officer, you will work closely with our program team to deliver strategic risk objectives, maintain accurate reporting requirements, and provide training and support for our risk toolset.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Risk Manager to conduct regular risk reviews, prepare agendas, record minutes, and update our risk database in a timely manner.
  • Work with the Risk Manager to develop monthly risk reports, analyzing trends and providing actionable insights.
  • Assist in preparing risk-related documentation and artefacts.
  • Provide support for schedule risk analysis and modelling.
  • Manage access requests for our risk software and facilitate training for new users.
  • Offer expert advice and respond to queries from various business areas.
About You:
  • Previous experience in project management or a similar role is highly desirable.
  • Critical thinking, problem-solving, and innovation skills are essential for success in this position.
  • Able to build strong relationships with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive business outcomes.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are required for effective collaboration.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills are necessary for data analysis and presentation.
  • Current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain is mandatory for this role.
