Project Risk Officer Role Summary

The Project Risk Officer plays a pivotal role in delivering overall Program Risk & Opportunity objectives by providing support to the program risk and opportunity management process, reporting to the Risk & Issues Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Risk & Issues Manager in conducting risk reviews, including preparation of risk review agendas, recording risk review minutes and actions arising, ensuring updates are captured in the risk toolset in a timely manner, and following up on actions arising.
  • Work with the Risk & Issues Manager to deliver monthly Risk & Opportunity Program reporting.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate and timely R&O reporting requirements.
  • Provide support to periodic Schedule Risk Analysis modelling.
  • Manage requests for risk software access and facilitate toolset training for new users.
  • Provide advice and respond to Risk & Opportunity queries from IPTs.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role or project management is desirable.
  • Proven ability to identify and solve problems, think critically, and innovate.
  • Capability to partner with individuals/teams across business areas to shape and implement business requirements.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.
  • Current NV1 Defence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.
