Synergy People are seeking an experienced worker to provide on-going maintenance and repairs for a large food manufacture in the Nowra area. The successful applicant will possess a mechanical aptitude, be reliable and motivated and have experience in a similar position.

This role is suited to someone who has the flexibility to work overtime, weekends and be on-call as needed - you will be paid accordingly.

**Duties may include but are not limited to**:

- Performing preventative, reactive and breakdown maintenance in a timely and safe manner
- Recording details of all electrical, machine and equipment faults, repairs and works
- Performing a variety of site maintenance works including but not limited to; changing light fittings, test & tag, disassembly and reassembly of production equipment
- Working alongside and providing assistance to the maintenance team
- Ordering parts and equipment, some of which is supplied from overseas
- General housekeeping of workshop, storage and factory areas

**Essential criteria**:

- A relevant trade qualification
- Stainless steel welding experience
- Experience with PLC and fault finding advantageous
- Ability to problem solve and make decisions
- Excellent numeracy, literacy and communication skills
- Mechanical maintenance experience preferred
- The ability to work within timeframes
- Motivated and reliable
- Basic computer skills
- Available to work overtime, weekends and on-call as required (on occasion)
- Commitment to health, safety, environmental and quality standards
- Drivers license and own car preferred as public transport is limited

**Position Location**:South** **Nowra NSW 2541

**Hours of Work**:Day shift - Monday to Friday. Occasionally required to work overtime, afternoons and be on-call over the weekends**. **All work done outside the normal span of hours will be paid accordingly
