This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with excellent prospects for skill development in a stable, heavy industry environment.In this role, you'll apply your technical skills and diagnostic ability—whether gained in automotive or other industries—working both independently and as part of a team to carry out plant maintenance.

We offer a supportive team environment, a competitive hourly rate, and opportunities for career growth.Whether you're a qualified fitter, a mechanical all-rounder, or have experience in areas such as welding or hydraulics, we'd love to hear from you.ResponsibilitiesMechanical Responsibilities: Perform mechanical fitting, troubleshoot and diagnose issues, and conduct mould maintenance/fabrication.Safety, Quality & Compliance: Ensure commitment to safety, quality, environmental standards, and maintain accurate documentation (SWMS, JHA/JSA, work permits, visitor logs).
Teamwork & Flexibility: Collaborate with team members to meet production goals Process & Systems: Support continuous improvement initiatives and utilise SAP for spare parts coordination and stocktakes.What you will need to succeedRelevant trade qualification in mechanical fitting or a related disciplineProven experience in a mechanical or maintenance role, ideally within an industrial or manufacturing environmentA self-motivated, energetic, and confident approach to workStrong problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feetA true team player with the flexibility to adapt to varied tasks and environmentsAbility to work independently while also collaborating effectively within a teamOur BusinessAdbri Masonry is Australia's leading concrete products manufacturer supplying quality concrete bricks, blocks, pavers, retaining walls, erosion control products and architectural masonry solutions.
