**Where you'll be working**:
Our client is large enterprise organisation in the **financial services sector** that is really pushing new big data and cloud solutions. With data flowing through different parts of the business, **Data Governance is high on the agenda.**

They have **brand-new product launch** that will disrupt the industry utilising the vast amounts of data that passes through this company.

You be able to take **ownership** of the Data Governance roadmap for this **a global financial services company.**

12 Month Contract

**What you'll be doing**:
You will be responsible for providing technical and thought **data governance leadership** whilst leading the design and business analysis of the **enterprise** data governance framework.

The role will see you effectively and efficiently manage all data governance related activity whilst providing support, facilitation data governance expertise and leadership.

**Your Skills**:

- 3+ years working in a Data Governance role.
- Strong exposure / experience of analytical platforms governance.
- A strong commercial background within the Financial Services sector.
- Experience working in a complex organization within or reporting to an Enterprise data governance function or Chief Data Office.
- Experience with data governance, data quality and metadata management tools.
- Exposure / experience of operational risk management.
- Business Knowledge demonstrated by interpreting internal and external business challenges to recommend best practices to improve products, processes or services.
