Primary Health Tasmania is seeking applications from suitably qualified people to join our Board of Directors.About Primary Health TasmaniaPrimary Health Tasmania is a non-government, not-for-profit organisation working to connect care and keep Tasmanians well and out of hospital.
We are one of 31 organisations under the Australian Government's Primary Health Networks (PHN) Program.
Collectively, all PHNs deliver national primary health care reforms to support and enable a coordinated, primary care-focused health system.Primary Health Tasmania operates statewide with offices in Hobart, Launceston, and Ulverstone, and has strong relationships with a broad range of private, public, and community sector organisations across primary, acute, aged, and social care.
This positions us well in our effort to deliver right care in the right place at the right time by the right people.Skills we are particularly looking forWe are committed to developing a strong and diverse Board where individual members bring unique strengths.
Applications are sought from people with strong governance skills and expertise across at least 2 industry skill areas, such as health service design and delivery, community and stakeholder management, political relations, and commercial skills (including IT, data management, legal, and business systems).
We encourage applications from all community members, especially Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, recognizing the value of diversity.
Regional representation is also considered, and applicants from the north and north-west are particularly encouraged to apply.About the rolesWe are seeking 2 elected directors for the Primary Health Tasmania Board.
