Through safe refuge and trauma-informed practices, we empower families and rebuild futures while placing cultural safety at the core of our services.About the RoleWe are currently looking to recruit a number of Board Directors to join our team.Key DutiesProvide strategic direction and governance oversight to AWCCSEnsure compliance with ACNC and other legal / governance standardsContribute skills in areas such as finance, philanthropy, people and culture, homelessness and / or domestic violence expertise, governance, fundraising, or community / government relationsPromote culturally safe and trauma-informed practicesParticipate inboard meetings held every two months, withremote attendance fully supportedSupport strategic planning and organisational policy developmentAssist in advocacy, fundraising, and stakeholder engagement activitiesMonitor organisational performance against the strategic planSupport the Service Manager in leading initiatives that promote staff wellbeing and a healthy workplace cultureEngage in a collaborative Board environment, which may include responding to approvals or issues outside of scheduled meetings#J-18808-Ljbffr
