What does the job look like?
Linfox's Intermodal business unit has an opportunity for an experienced HC Driver to join their team based in Mackay, QLD.
You will be responsible for local deliveries and hand unloads with various freight from our major customers both locally & regionally.
This is a full-time permanent position, working Monday through to Friday on day shift from 5:00am - 1:00pm + rotating overtime available on Saturdays between 5:00am - 1:00pm.
Key areas:Deliver freight both locally and throughout the regionDaily pre-start checks, including refuelling & maintaining truck interiorEnsure loads are restrained appropriatelyCompleting hand unloadsCommunicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors & customers where neededComply with Linfox's coupling & uncoupling proceduresCommit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus Are you the one?
