What does the job look like?
HC Driver responsible for local deliveries and hand unloads with various freight for major customers locally and regionally. Shift: Monday–Friday, day shift 5:00am–1:00pm; rotating overtime on Saturdays 5:00am–1:00pm.
Responsibilities
Deliver freight both locally and throughout the region
Daily pre-start checks, including refuelling and maintaining truck interior
Ensure loads are restrained appropriately
Completing hand unloads
Communicate effectively with other drivers, supervisors and customers where needed
Comply with Linfox's coupling and uncoupling procedures
Commit to Linfox Safety Standards at all times to ensure that Vision Zero is a daily focus

Valid HC licence
Forklift licence - preferred but not essential
Experience delivering containerised freight throughout the Mackay region and beyond
Strong attitude towards safety and customer satisfaction
History of safe work practices and excellent communication
Rail experience highly regarded but not essential
