In this role, you will play an important part in maintaining a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for our patients, staff, and visitors.Key responsibilities include:Maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in line with infection control guidelinesEnsuring all equipment is cleaned, restocked, and stored appropriatelyTaking responsibility and accountability for your allocated dutiesFollowing safe work practices and adhering to workplace health and safety requirementsYour Skills and ExperienceTo succeed in this role, you will ideally bring:Previous housekeeping experience in a healthcare or similar environment (highly desirable)Experience with cleaning machinery such as floor scrubbers (highly desirable)A sound understanding of OHS and safe work practicesThe ability to prioritise tasks and complete work to a high standard safely and efficientlyAbout UsCairns Private Hospital is a modern, well equipped facility which offers a comprehensive range of medical and allied services.
