The role
Reporting to the Principal Infrastructure Digital Communications, the Officer, Digital Communications plays a central role in supporting the development and management of program-wide digital communications, tools, platforms, and graphic design for HIQ. The role is responsible for supporting the streamlined delivery of digital communications and graphic design activities, working in conjunction with Strategic Communications Branch (SCB) and in partnership with HHS and other Department stakeholders. The successful person
The Officer, Digital Communications must have expertise in digital communications and design, and ideally can demonstrate experience in supporting large-scale infrastructure projects.
**The essential requirements for this role are**:

- Experience developing and implementing graphic design and digital communication activity across multiple projects.
- Knowledge of design processes and techniques within a PC design environment
- Intermediate to advanced skills using Adobe Premium Design software including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator, and other design software.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Comprehensive understanding of visual design principles, typography, colour theory and layout.
- Ability to work to briefs and present concepts clearly.
- Collect, interpret, and implement feedback from a variety of stakeholders.
- Demonstrated ability to work in partnership with and build influential and productive relationships.
- Can proactively identify strategic digital communications opportunities.
- Provide clear and timely recommendations in a high-tempo, complex and ambiguous environment.
