The Westin Brisbane, located at 111 Mary Street, Brisbane City is hiring a **Bars Manager**. This is an exciting opportunity to oversee the daily operations of our venues including The Charles Bar, Nautilus Pool Bar and Settimo Restaurant Bar. You will be a forward thinker, promoting and activating our venues with menu planning and beverage innovation whilst striving to ensure guest satisfaction. You will have strong wine knowledge and the ability to share your knowledge with our associates to ensure they are empowered and knowledgeable in all things beverage.

Your core responsibilities include but are not limited to;
- Implements agreed upon beverage policy and procedures throughout the property;
- Manages in compliance with all local, state and Federal beverage and liquor laws;
- Understands beverage control including days on hand, perpetual inventory, bar pars, portion control, costs controls, beverage potentials, mix of sales analysis for beverage, issue & returns, food standards, and period end inventory;
- Comprehends budgets, operating statements and payroll reports as needed to assist in the financial management of department;
- Empowers Talent to provide excellent guest service and emphasises guest satisfaction and focuses on continuous improvement;
- Maintains food handling and sanitation standards;
- Lead planning and development of menus.
